Brand Snapshot — Paid Research Engagement
The Brand Snapshot is a paid commissioned research product. Submitting a Brand Snapshot request form does not confirm a project, create an engagement, or obligate either party. Back2Basics will review each submission and share project terms — including scope, timeline, and project fees — privately after determining brand fit. No work will begin until a written engagement agreement has been signed and any required initial payment has been received.
Brand Snapshot findings are based on observable secondary market data and Back2Basics’ internal research judgment. They reflect a defined scope of market activity and are not a complete representation of all retail, wholesale, marketplace, or consumer behavior related to a brand.
Separate Engagement Agreements
These Terms govern use of the Website and its public materials only. Any Brand Snapshot, consulting, research, resale-as-a-service, or other paid engagement will be governed by a separate signed written agreement. If these Terms conflict with a signed engagement agreement, the signed engagement agreement will control.
No Client Relationship Until Written Agreement
Submitting a form, downloading the Executive Briefing, or communicating with Back2Basics does not create a client relationship, consulting engagement, or contractual obligation. A client relationship is established only through a signed, written agreement between Back2Basics and the requesting party.
Review and Right to Decline
Back2Basics reviews all form submissions and inquiries. We reserve the right to decline any request for any lawful reason, including where the engagement is not a good fit for the company’s current capacity, focus, or standards. Declining an inquiry does not imply any negative characterization of the requesting party.
Confidential Information
Do not submit proprietary, confidential, or sensitive business information through a website form. Website forms are not intended for highly confidential, proprietary, regulated, or sensitive disclosures. If your inquiry involves sensitive information, please indicate that in your initial submission and wait until a written non-disclosure agreement or private engagement terms are in place before sharing details.

Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and any dispute arising solely from use of the Website or its public materials are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any such dispute must be brought in the state courts located in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and each party consents to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
Any dispute arising from a paid engagement will be governed by the applicable signed engagement agreement.
Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure by Back2Basics to enforce any provision does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without prior written consent from Back2Basics. Back2Basics may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale of assets, or other business transfer.
If you submit a form or communicate on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding use of the Website and its public materials. Any paid engagement remains governed by its separate signed agreement.
